Both are part of the Schlumbergera genus, but they typically flower around their respective namesake. I brought a few Thanksgiving Cactus in so y’all can be ready by Turkey Day. $10 each for 6” pots. Don’t ask me what color the blooms are- it’s a surprise, to all of us. I mixed the pots up ok, probably pinkpurpleredorange. 😂🦃🌵

When your dream turns out to not be your dream, yo When your dream turns out to not be your dream, you pivot. 💚 We’ve made the difficult decision to close the Itty Bitty storefront at the end of September. It turns out that turning my passion into a full time business didn’t bring me the joy I expected it to. And that’s ok. But while the storefront is going away, that doesn’t mean Itty Bitty Trees is no more. We are scaling back our physical location, but I’m looking forward to continuing to host workshops and classes, participating in pop-ups and festivals, and occasionally opening the greenhouse to shop. I truly believe this was a lesson in “you never know until you try”, and I’m so grateful for y’all allowing me to try. 🪴

Rainbow eucalyptus trees, known scientifically as Rainbow eucalyptus trees, known scientifically as *Eucalyptus deglupta*, are known for their vibrant, multicolored bark. Native to the Philippines, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea, these trees are notable for their peeling bark that reveals a bright green layer underneath. As the bark matures, it changes color, progressing through shades of blue, purple, orange, and red. This unique coloration gives the tree its “rainbow” appearance.
